Plot

On their first date at Lara’s home, a thirty-five-year-old restorer seeking new balance, and Piero, a fifty-year-old teacher recovering from a separation, every word and gesture is guided by their inner voices: rational, romantic, impulsive and disenchanted. Amid unexpected events, confessions and returns from the past, the evening turns into an intense dialogue between contrasting emotions. In this brilliant interplay between reality and thought, the two discover how complicated – and necessary – it is to put themselves back on the line.
