After her father’s death, Anna, a rational and guarded veterinarian, accompanies Ayse, the man’s Turkish caregiver, on a journey across the Balkans to take her back to her home country along with an unexpected inheritance: a bed left to her as a gift. Amid unforeseen events, tensions and cultural differences, the trip turns into an emotional confrontation that overturns prejudices and distances.
